Dr. Jorge Calderón is an Associate Professor of literature and culture in the Department of French at Simon Fraser University. He trained in French studies at Université de Montréal (B.A., 1998), Queen’s University (M.A., 1999), and McGill University (Ph.D., 2005). He also studied in Paris at the École Normale Supérieure, the Sorbonne Nouvelle, Université Paris 7 and Paris 8. Dr. Calderón has published on existentialism, Nouveau Roman, AIDS writing, and contemporary literature.
